Fall Must Haves

I know I can’t be the only one who has a must have list for every season. Every time a season changes we make list of things we would like to have or think we need. Either it’s a clothing item or a make up item or something to make us feel comfortable through the season. I can’t be the only one who likes seeing what everyone has on there must have list?Personally, I like reading other people’s list and I hope you do too.

Knitted sweater - I do have a knitted sweater. Seeing as I live in Florida I never really get to wear it. Only if I am visiting family up north where it’s cold this time of the year. I believe you must have a knitted sweater in your wardrobe.

Fall playlist- Probably like everyone else I love music. I love making a playlist for each season. To help me get in the mood for each season, I put a list together of songs that remind me of memories from each season.

Dark lipstick- I love dark lipstick and I am obsessed with wearing it this time of year. Dark lipstick can be worn in spring and summer but meant more for fall and winter months. I wear It as much as possible before the transition back into spring

Boots - Boots are definitely a must have. Even though I live in Florida, I do have a couple pairs of boots. From an easy slip on pair to pairs with heels, I always get excited to wear my boots. But, because it’s warmer a little longer here I have to wait until later than everyone else to wear them

Fall candles - I wait all year for fall candles to come around. My favorites are from Bath and Body. There are two of them that I absolutely love and get every single year; pumpkin pecan waffles and vanilla pumpkin marshmallow. These are the two I buy more than once during the fall season.

I know this list is short but its more of my top five must haves for the fall. I also realize that a lot of my post have been on Fall things lately but I just love the season and hopefully you do too. I hope this got you into a fall mood or I just gave you idea of what to add to your list.

Fall Bucket List

Every year there are things I can’t wait to do once fall arrives. Why I never made a fall bucket list before last year. I know a lot of people love fall just as much as I do and also make fall bucket list. So I decided to share mine to hopefully give you ideas on things you may enjoy this fall.

Pumpkin Carving - I have never carved a pumpkin before. We used to get fake pumpkins from Michaels and decorate them with paint, stickers, or glitter. My older brother would sometimes carve a pumpkin but I never got the chance to do this when I was younger. So, this year I am carving a pumpkin!

Roast Smores - I was working last year so I missed out on this chocolatey goodness. I didn’t have a chance to go outside to the fire pit, and roast s’mores. So, it’s definitely something I want to do this year.

Apple Picking- This is something me and my friend talked about doing last year, but we just never did it. I hope to find somewhere near us to go out and pick the fresh and delicious apples from the trees.

Fall Photoshoot- I love fall and how the leaves change color. For weeks I have been wanting to do a fall photoshoot. It’s one that I’m most excited for this year.

Jump in Leaf Piles- Since I live in Florida it’s not really possible to do that here. But where my grandparents live. There are leaves everywhere wait to be made into a leaf pile.

Fall Candles- I can check this on off the list. The other day I went to bath & body and bought my favorite fall candles. My two favorites are pumpkin pecan waffles and vanilla pumpkin marshmallow. I am currently burning the pumpkin pecan waffles one and it puts me in the fall mood.

This is a short post but I hope this gives you a few ideas on what to do for fun this season. Now, that it is officially fall I am hopeful that I am going complete all of these this year. I hope this was helpful and you enjoyed it and I hope to hear about your fall bucket list.

Photography Inspiration

I love photography. It’s one of of my favorite things to do, but even though I love it I sometimes have photography block. Photography block is just like writer’s block. I sometimes have a hard time finding inspiration of what to take photos of and I need help figuring it out. Pinterest and We Heart It are very good places to get inspiration and even Google can help if you search photography inspiration. I like to look for all types of photos just to help understand what I am trying to get out of my own pictures. There are many types of photos to look at on the internet to inspire you.

Landscape Photos - When I think of landscape photos I think of nature. It kind of goes with the name. Landscape photos are usually photos of beaches, mountains, forest, fields or even busy city streets. Anything in nature that catches your eye will make a beautiful photograph.
Food Photos - For all you foodies out there this is your type of photography. I mean really, who doesn’t love food? I actually like looking at artsy food photos even though it makes me hungry every time I see one. Probably, because I decide to look at food photos late at night not a good idea. But, if you love food or have a food blog these are the photos for you.
Fashion Photos- Whether you’re a fashion designer a fashion blogger or someone who just enjoys fashion these photos are really fun. Most of the time they will showcase an outfit or an accessory. I happen to love fashion photos because they always give me ideas on what to wear or what to add to my closet. Really you can’t go wrong with a good and pretty fashion photo.
Flat Lay Photos- Flat Lay photos are very popular and are eye catchers. I personally love flat lay photos and did a blog post on them last month. These photos can be very easy to do and pleasing for the eye to look at. If you have a product or an accessory you want to show off this is photo for you.

Fall Fashion Ready

Even though we are no where close to fall whether here in Florida other parts of the world are. Either you are preparing for those colder days or already welcoming them and need some new items for your fall wardrobe. My wardrobe right now still consist of flip flops tank tops and shorts, but I have begun looking for a few new fall items to wear this year. I always need inspiration and ideas as to what to add to my closet. So, I’m always on Pinterest or We Heart It to get ideas of pieces I should be looking at for my closet. Because I have been searching so much I have found some stuff that interest me and that are in fashion this year.

Flannel Shirts- I think we all know flannels are a trend that will never go out of style especially in the fall. Flannels are something you can either dress up or dress down. Dress it up with some chunky jewelry and a cute pair of jeans and heals. Dress it down with a pair of flats leggings and a messy bun. Its perfect for when you want to be cute and fashionable but comfortable at the same time.
Cardigans- Who doesn’t love cardigans? I personally have a few of them. Cardigans are an item that can pull any outfit together whether it be leggings and a t-shirt or jeans and a blouse. You can’t really go wrong with a cardigan in your wardrobe plus most of them are cozy and warm. It is also a plus for those chilly days and nights when you don’t want to wear a big jacket you can’t really move in. Because I live in Florida I don’t really need a big heavy jacket so cardigans are always my choice to keep me warm.
Knitted Sweaters- Of course it wouldn’t be fall without a sweater; it is called sweater weather for a reason. I only have one again, because I live in Florida and I don’t really need them but that doesn’t mean I didn’t wear it as many times possible last year. Knitted sweaters are great to wear with jeans and boots, skirts and heels and the best of all leggings because who doesn’t love legging! Sweaters are usually the most comfortable thing for me to wear and I find them to be amazing.IMG_6384

Leggings- You know by now that I love leggings, it’s pretty obvious. Leggings come in many colors patterns and styles and they can be worn with anything, skirts, blouses, t-shirts and sweaters. They are so comfortable to lounge around in the house with or to go out and look cute with a pair of boots. Even though we still are having summer weather here I have already started to wear my leggings.

Boots- Boots have to be one of my favorite items in my fall fashion list. There are so many boot choices out there, ankle boots, knee boots, boots that are flat boots with heels. The options are endless, you just need to pick the ones that fit your style. I personally like ankle boots and knee boots. I have a pair of both flats and ones with heels. Boots are the type of shoes for fall that can make or break an outfit. Boots can be worn with dresses, skirts, and jeans just pick the pair you love and you’re good to go.IMG_6386
